Seismic Knowledge enables revenue teams to access timely information and enhance customer experiences on a large scale. The Knowledge Slack bot employs AI to provide automated answers to commonly asked questions. Through crowdsourcing and verification, teams can collectively fill knowledge gaps, ensuring the information remains up-to-date and reliable. The app also serves as a reliable source of truth, allowing reps to quickly find accurate answers, lessons, and documents within Slack.

How this app works

Use Seismic for Knowledge to: 

  • Get smarter, faster answers: Knowledge is comprised of FAQs and Guides. FAQs are common questions with consistent, approved answers. Guides are how-to, step-by-step processes or snippets of reusable information that client-facing teams can access in the flow of work. Knowledge becomes smarter over time as it is used. Meaning, the more questions your teams ask ask, the more it learns, effectively harnessing the power to build and organize the best knowledge base. 
  • Unlock a single source of truth: break down knowledge silos by unifying search across disparate tools like Seismic for Content, Seismic for Learning, Google Drive, Slack, Confluence, and Dropbox to make answers easily accessible. 
  • Uncover knowledge gaps: tap into the collective and identify unique insights to uncover enablement opportunities and fill knowledge gaps instantly. Once a knowledge gap is identified, Knowledge admins and content creators create the FAQs and Guides that are then surfaced when users search for answers or ask relevant questions in the Knowledge dashboard, browser extension, or Slack.

After enabling the app, Seismic users can access the Knowledge dashboard from Seismic’s main menu, install the Knowledge browser extension for Chrome or Edge, and integrate Knowledge with Slack. This makes it easy for them to begin using Knowledge in tools they're already familiar with. 

 

Slack App Installation

To install the Seismic app for Slack, you must enable the Slack integration from within the Seismic Knowledge Configuration interface. Please contact your implementation specialist for instructions.
