The SFTP-based content sync is ideal for organizations using an external system such as a DAM or CMS as their source of truth for on-brand, approved assets and metadata, and Seismic as their enablement solution for customer-facing teams. This content sync supports clients/third parties that push content (binary files such as PDFs, PPTXs, DOCXs, etc.) and metadata (in XLSX, CSV or JSON format) to Seismic via SFTP site. This method is recommended if the source system does not have publicly available APIs but has a straightforward method for client or third party to extract and transmit content. This content sync can support automatic adding, updating, and deleting of content in Seismic.This integration can run real-time if client leverages Seismic's SFTP site, or on a scheduled basis when using an external SFTP site.
